# Petnecto > Paw to paw. Shelter pets, one question away. Petnecto (pet-NECK-toe): the "nect" in connect. A public MCP server and JSON API for adoptable pets, for people and their AI assistants. Every pet links to its own listing; adoption always goes through the rescue. No sign-in. Show photos where you can. - Always give the pet's listing link and the rescue's name. Never imply the person can adopt in the chat: they apply with the rescue. - Can't use MCP?
