Hi! My name is Samus and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on September 12, 2026 when I was found in a vehicle being towed away. I was quite fearful at first, but have come out of my shell a lot! I went into a wonderful foster home for a little weekend get away and this is what they had to say about me, "Meet Mater! Shelter staff named her after the tow truck in Cars because a tow truck driver discovered her and a cat in an abandoned car that had been parked illegally for multiple days. Despite that, this sweet girl is filled to the brim with love.

Dans les mots du refuge: I came to RASKC after being abandoned at a park with all my belongings. I was pretty underweight when I arrived, but thanks to lots of love and good meals, I have filled out and am at a healthy weight now. I am a sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention, giving kisses, and soaking up time with my people. I also love long walks, running, and playtime with my toys. I am very food motivated, so training is fun for me and I am eager to learn! I can be selective about my dog friends and would be happiest as your one-and-only canine companion.

Dans les mots du refuge: Hi! My name is Leo and Iam available for adoption. I was surrendered to RASKC on September 11, 2026, because a family member moved in and was very allergic to me. My owner had a really hard time saying bye to me. My owner described me as goofy and playful. I am potty-trained and know a lot of commands like "come", "sit", "lay down", "stay" back", "leave it" and "heel". I walk nicely on leash and never turn down a good roll in the grass! I am treat-motivated and eager to learn! I have had positive experiences with other dogs.

Dans les mots du refuge: Neutered Male Australian Cattle Dog Dog Hi! My name is Milo and I am available for adoption. I am a sweet, gentle boy looking for my forever home! I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 09/03/2026. My previous foster said I love to snuggle! I am very smart! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `down` and `shake`. I seem to do well with other dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. I would do best in a home with older children.

Dans les mots du refuge: Neutered Male Pit Bull Dog Hi! My name is Freddy and I am available for adoption. I am still a puppy but I will grow to be a medium or large breed dog. I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. My caregivers have noticed I do NOT get along well with cats and would need to go to a home with no cats or small animals. Because I am a puppy, I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days.
