How does the search work?
Say what you want in a sentence, in any of ten languages. Breeds, colours, ages, sizes and places become filters you can edit.
Type what you are hoping for, the way you would tell a friend: "a gentle senior cat", "small dog under 10 kg that gets along with cats", "black dog, young, Taipei".
Petnecto turns the words into filters (breed, colour, age, size, place) and shows you what it understood. Change a filter if it guessed wrong. Words work in ten languages, and a breed written in any of them is understood.
The quick questions on the home page (dog or cat, size, age) only sort by those three things. Taiwan's listings do not say how a pet does with kids or other pets, so we do not ask. The shelter knows the pet: ask them.
Searching by words never hides a pet from you because of how we rank things. If a listing does not state something you asked for, the search says so and counts those pets separately.
