How fresh are the listings?
Refreshed daily. A pet that leaves a list is "no longer listed", never "adopted". Call the shelter to confirm.
We check each source once a day. Every pet shows when it was listed, when the shelter last changed it, and when we last found it on the shelter's own list.
A listing can be out of date: a pet may already have found a home. Call the shelter to confirm before you go. This matters most when a listing is marked as old, or when the shelter has reported availability changing.
When a pet leaves a shelter's list we show it as "no longer listed". We never say it was adopted, because we cannot know.
Long waits are common in Taiwan's public shelters, so a pet that has been listed for a while is still a pet who needs a home.
