How do I adopt a pet I found?
Open the pet's listing, follow the link to the shelter's own page, and ask the shelter. Adoption always happens with the shelter.

- Follow the link to the shelter's own listing. Every pet has one, with the shelter's name and how to reach it.
- Ask the shelter. Adoption is between you and the shelter, on its terms. Petnecto cannot reserve a pet or take an application.
Some shelters only see adopters in person. For example, several Taiwan shelters say in their own words that they do not take online or phone reservations and decide on a visit. Their notes appear on the pet's page as the shelter wrote them.
