I lost or found a pet. Can Petnecto help?
Petnecto lists adoptable shelter pets. Vienna's found-animal list is shown for owners; it is not adoptable.
Petnecto is a search for adoptable shelter pets. It does not take reports of lost or found pets, and it cannot reserve or hold a pet.
The one exception is Vienna: its public found-animal list is shown (country=AT) so owners can look for a lost pet. Those animals are not adoptable on Petnecto, and the search counts found pets and pets not yet open for adoption apart from the adoptable ones.
For a pet that is missing or that you found, the shelter or animal-control office near you is the place to ask. Each listing links to its shelter, and the contact details are the shelter's own.
If you are not sure whether a listing is current, call the shelter. See "How fresh are the listings?".
