Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cedar and I am available for adoption! I was brought to RASKC on September 23, 2026. I was quite fearful and on track to becoming a barn cat, but I went to a wonderful foster home for socialization and have made great progress! My foster says this, "She took a couple days to get acclimated, but is showing a lot of progress. The back scratcher tool was really helpful. Once she started eating, I was able to start socialization. She's pretty food motivated and has a healthy appetite.

I must admit I am still quite fearful of everything since my siblings and I have been living outdoors up until now, but I am making progress daily. I went out to a foster home at the start of September where I learned that not everything is scary and that getting love (on my terms!!) is actually pretty nice. I am a purr machine once I get comfy with you and will just cuddle up for a day of love. I lived with a large cat and after a slow introduction with him I did really well! I also lived with a medium sized dog. He took longer for me to learn to trust but towards the end I was starting to get there.

My foster states that I got along with their cat, dog (american bully), teenager and adult in the home.
