Petnecto runs a public, read-only MCP server at https://petnecto.com/mcp. There is no sign-in and nothing to install.
- Claude or Claude Desktop: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste the address; no authentication.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http petnecto https://petnecto.com/mcp - ChatGPT: Settings, Apps & Connectors, Advanced: turn on developer mode, then Create connector with the same address.
- Cursor or VS Code: one-click links are listed in https://petnecto.com/llms.txt.
Then ask, for example, "show me small dogs near Taipei". The assistant should always show the pet's listing link and the shelter's name, and should never imply you can adopt in the chat: you apply with the shelter.
Problem reports go to a separate endpoint, https://petnecto.com/mcp/contribute, and the assistant should ask you first.
