Show adoptable pets on your website

One line of code puts pets from a shelter, or near a place, on any page. It is free, does not use cookies, and always credits the shelter.

Simplest: always the latest version
<script src="https://petnecto.com/embed.js" data-locate="true" data-limit="6" async></script>

This address always serves our newest widget. It trusts us fully on every page view.

Options

data-shelter
A shelter's id: the end of its Petnecto page address (/shelters/…)
data-near
A place or postal code, instead of a shelter
data-species
Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Bird…
data-limit
How many pets, 1 to 12 (default 6)
data-lang
The widget's language (default: the visitor's)
data-heading
Heading level of the title, h2 to h4 (default h2)
data-locate
true adds a button that finds pets near the visitor, only when pressed

Please keep the credit line: it names the shelters and the sources the listings come from.

Built to WCAG 2.2 AA: real headings and lists, descriptive links, visible focus, light and dark, right-to-left.

It does not use cookies. A visitor's location is asked for only when they press the button, and only a place rounded to about 1 km is sent.
