Find adoptable pets from your AI assistant
Petnecto works inside the assistant you already use. Add one address, once, then ask for pets in your own words. It is free, and there is nothing to sign in to.
Try asking
Say “Petnecto” in your request, so your assistant uses Petnecto's tools and not a general web search.
Use Petnecto to find me a young cat in Taipei
Ask Petnecto for dogs in Kaohsiung, with photos
Use Petnecto to find me a dog near Seattle
Ask Petnecto for cats in Montgomery County, Maryland

No MCP client?
If your assistant can open web addresses, it can read the plain JSON API. If a program can send a web request, it can talk to the MCP address directly.
curl -s 'https://petnecto.com/api/v1/pets?country=TW&q=poodle&limit=3&output=md'curl -s https://petnecto.com/mcp -H 'content-type: application/json' -H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"find_pets","arguments":{"country":"TW","q":"black shiba Taipei"}}}'Not working?
- Say “Petnecto” in your request. Without the name, some assistants search the web instead.
- Check that the address ends in /mcp and that you chose no authentication.
- In ChatGPT, the connector needs developer mode turned on (Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced).
- Open a new chat after you add it. If it is still not there, quit and reopen the app.
- Cannot connect at all? You can always search by hand. Find pets without an assistant
What it can and cannot do
- It only reads. It can search, show one pet and show one shelter. It cannot change anything.
- No sign-in, no account and no key.
- It cannot adopt a pet for you. Adoption happens with the shelter, so your assistant should give you the shelter's name and the pet's page.
- Listings change. Ask the shelter to confirm that a pet is still there before you travel.
Each request writes one log line (which tool, whether it worked, how long it took), never what you typed. Your assistant keeps your conversation under its own policy.
