In the shelter's words

Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Barn Cat Hi! My name is Barn Cat Shelob and I am a "Working Cat". I am seeking a home where I can put my hunting skills to work! I am a cat that has had some interactions with humans and I'm likely interested in being pet and handled, but only on my terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. Being an indoor only cat is not enough stimulation for me and I would like to hunt rodents in order to stay enriched and active.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Betty Crocker and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on September 1, 2026 with NINE of my kittens. We all went to a wonderful foster home so I could continue being a mom to my kittens, but now they are all grown so I am back at RASKC to look for my forever family. Honestly there isn't too much to say about me because I am a wonderful gal! I am super friendly, affectionate and easy going :) I am an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow and I just can't wait to find my forever home!

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Mediumhair Cat Hi! My name is Hinata and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on October 5, 2026. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I know! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed.

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Iris and I am available for adoption! I am a shy kitty who is looking for a loving home. I am nervous around children but love adults. I would thrive if I went to a home with adults only. I would really adore a loving home that would give me the affection, time, and understanding to become my very sweetest kitty-self. My foster home has a toddler, I did let him pet me a couple times on the first day I moved in. Once I warm up to you and the toddler isnt home, I do come out and play. I like to sit in my cat tree and look outside to the backyard.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cedar and I am available for adoption! I was brought to RASKC on September 23, 2026. I was quite fearful and on track to becoming a barn cat, but I went to a wonderful foster home for socialization and have made great progress! My foster says this, "She took a couple days to get acclimated, but is showing a lot of progress. The back scratcher tool was really helpful. Once she started eating, I was able to start socialization. She's pretty food motivated and has a healthy appetite.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Rita and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by my previous owner on August 26, 2026 with my kitten Morgan (A752486) because they had too many cats. I went to a wonderful foster home for a few weeks, but we finally back at RASKC to look for our forever families. My foster states that I got along with their cat, dog (american bully), teenager and adult in the home. My foster described me as a dog in a cat's body :) I am an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow!

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Mediumhair Cat Hi! My name is Misty and I am available for adoption! I am a shy but curious kitten looking for a loving home who will take things slow with me. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cayenne and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on August 20, 2026. I am bonded with my sister Pepper and must be adopted with her. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Anise and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 13, 2026 with a bunch of my siblings! I must admit I am still quite fearful of everything since my siblings and I have been living outdoors up until now, but I am making progress daily. I may dodge you initially and hiss, but once I get settled I do enjoy getting scritches :) Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children.
