In the shelter's words
Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Parton and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on October 18, 2026. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I get to know! I like getting attention on my own terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Rita and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by my previous owner on August 26, 2026 with my kitten Morgan (A752486) because they had too many cats. I went to a wonderful foster home for a few weeks, but we finally back at RASKC to look for our forever families. My foster states that I got along with their cat, dog (american bully), teenager and adult in the home. In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Buttercup and I am available for adoption! I was surrendered to RASKC on August 31, 2026 because my owner had too many cats. I am a shy gal that came in with a lot of other cats. I am still settling in here at the shelter, so I am very shy and shut down at this time. I am looking for a quiet home where I can settle in and take my time to get to know you. Since I was not showing well in the shelter I am currently in a foster home to decompress. Please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!

My foster says this about me, "Bernie is an excellent athlete and a loyal friend. She would love to live with you and play laser pointer tag forever. Updated October 5, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Freja and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 5, 2026. I was in a wonderful foster home for a bit and this is what they had to say about me, "Freja is a sweet, resilient girl who has had a pretty tough couple of years and deserves a safe, loving home of her own. Freja previously had a home but was abandoned at an apartment complex about two years ago. Since then, she has been surviving outside and has had multiple litters of kittens. Despite everything she's been through, she has very clearly remembered how to trust people and how to be someone's cat.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Mediumhair Cat Hi! My name is Misty and I am available for adoption! I am a shy but curious kitten looking for a loving home who will take things slow with me. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.
