Mabel
domestic long-haired cat
Updated October 31, 2026
In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Longhair Cat Hi! My name is Mabel and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on August 26, 2026 with a few of my siblings. We were bottle babies when we arrived so we went into a wonderful foster home for some much needed TLC. Now that we are bigger we are back at RASKC to look for our forever families. In my foster home I got along with the resident yorkie. When meeting any new animals in the home, I would do best with a SLOW introduction. I am an adaptable kitten who loves to go with the flow!

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Longhair Cat Hi! My name is Pretty Girl and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 3, 2026 with two of my siblings! I went to a wonderful foster home for some TLC, but now I am back at RASKC to look for my forever family. My foster says this about me, "Pretty Girl was found outside by her foster parents and brought into their home about 4-5 weeks ago. She was with two other kittens that were shy at first, but they quickly warmed up and have been adopted. We kept Pretty Girl for a while because she has taken a very long time to warm up.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cedar and I am available for adoption! I was brought to RASKC on September 23, 2026. I was quite fearful and on track to becoming a barn cat, but I went to a wonderful foster home for socialization and have made great progress! My foster says this, "She took a couple days to get acclimated, but is showing a lot of progress. The back scratcher tool was really helpful. Icy
domestic long-haired cat
Updated October 17, 2026
In the shelter's words: Neutered Male Domestic Longhair Cat Hi there, my name is Icy and I came into the shelter with my siblings Nice and Spice. I was a kitten that couldn't be handled when I first came to the shelter. I didn't like people and only wanted to be around other cats. Because of this, I went out to a wonder foster parent that did miracle work with us. My foster parent decribed me as such "Ice was the hardest to get to come around. He didn't want anything to do with us at first. Once he met Apple though, our resident cat, he learned a lot from her and started to become a completely different cat.

Pepper
domestic long-haired cat
Updated October 17, 2026
In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Longhair Cat Hi! My name is Pepper and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on August 20, 2026. I am bonded with my sister Cayenne and must be adopted with her. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.

Derek
domestic short-haired cat
Updated October 20, 2026
In the shelter's words: Neutered Male Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Derek and I am available for adoption! My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other cats. When meeting cats in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.
