Scotty
domestic short-haired cat
Updated October 20, 2026
In the shelter's words: Neutered Male Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Scotty and I am available for adoption! My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other cats. When meeting cats in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.

Updated October 18, 2026
In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cedar and I am available for adoption! I was brought to RASKC on September 23, 2026. I was quite fearful and on track to becoming a barn cat, but I went to a wonderful foster home for socialization and have made great progress! My foster says this, "She took a couple days to get acclimated, but is showing a lot of progress. The back scratcher tool was really helpful. Once she started eating, I was able to start socialization. She's pretty food motivated and has a healthy appetite.
