In the shelter's words

Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Manzanita and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on October 25, 2026. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I get to know you! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Petunia and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on August 16, 2026. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be. I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow.

I was quite fearful and on track to becoming a barn cat, but I went to a wonderful foster home for socialization and have made great progress! My foster says this, "She took a couple days to get acclimated, but is showing a lot of progress. The back scratcher tool was really helpful. Once she started eating, I was able to start socialization. She's pretty food motivated and has a healthy appetite.
