In the shelter's words

Spayed Female Domestic Mediumhair Cat Hi! My name is Hinata and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on October 5, 2026. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I know! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed.

    Updated September 5, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Iris and I am available for adoption! I am a shy kitty who is looking for a loving home. I am nervous around children but love adults. I would thrive if I went to a home with adults only. I would really adore a loving home that would give me the affection, time, and understanding to become my very sweetest kitty-self. My foster home has a toddler, I did let him pet me a couple times on the first day I moved in. Once I warm up to you and the toddler isnt home, I do come out and play. I like to sit in my cat tree and look outside to the backyard.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Barn Cat Hi! My name is Barn Cat Shelob and I am a "Working Cat". I am seeking a home where I can put my hunting skills to work! I am a cat that has had some interactions with humans and I'm likely interested in being pet and handled, but only on my terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. Being an indoor only cat is not enough stimulation for me and I would like to hunt rodents in order to stay enriched and active.

    Updated August 31, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Buttercup and I am available for adoption! I was surrendered to RASKC on August 31, 2026 because my owner had too many cats. I am a shy gal that came in with a lot of other cats. I am still settling in here at the shelter, so I am very shy and shut down at this time. I am looking for a quiet home where I can settle in and take my time to get to know you. Since I was not showing well in the shelter I am currently in a foster home to decompress. Please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!

    Updated July 12, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Bumper and I am available for adoption! I am a bashful but playful kitten. I would love to go home with my buddy Muffler, we LOVE to wrestle and play together. We aren't affectionate cats right now, and will need the right people to love us and give us time to adjust to our home lives. We might come to seek affection on our terms, but food and play are the fastest ways to our hearts. I'm currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! BabyFemale

    Updated August 31, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi there, My name is Cardi (short for Cardamom). I came in with my two siblings and was a very undersocial kitten. I went out to a foster home at the start of September where I learned that not everything is scary and that getting love (on my terms!!) is actually pretty nice. I am a purr machine once I get comfy with you and will just cuddle up for a day of love. I lived with a large cat and after a slow introduction with him I did really well! I also lived with a medium sized dog. He took longer for me to learn to trust but towards the end I was starting to get there.

She spends her days on the bed now instead of under it and allows pets on her head and under her chin.
