    Updated October 26, 2026

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Beth and I am available for adoption! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

    Updated August 31, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Buttercup and I am available for adoption! I was surrendered to RASKC on August 31, 2026 because my owner had too many cats. I am a shy gal that came in with a lot of other cats. I am still settling in here at the shelter, so I am very shy and shut down at this time. I am looking for a quiet home where I can settle in and take my time to get to know you. Since I was not showing well in the shelter I am currently in a foster home to decompress. Please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!

    Updated October 5, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Freja and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 5, 2026. I was in a wonderful foster home for a bit and this is what they had to say about me, "Freja is a sweet, resilient girl who has had a pretty tough couple of years and deserves a safe, loving home of her own. Freja previously had a home but was abandoned at an apartment complex about two years ago. Since then, she has been surviving outside and has had multiple litters of kittens. Despite everything she's been through, she has very clearly remembered how to trust people and how to be someone's cat.

In the shelter's words: Neutered Male Domestic Mediumhair Cat Hello hello, my name is Marcus. I am ready for adoption! I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! I am an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing! Actually I just like it if you do all of the work and I get all the reward. My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other cats. I came in with my tiny little kitten buddy Rae and we did really well together. When meeting cats in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. I am an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow!

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Adalead and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by my previous owner on October 24, 2026 because they found us as strays when we were younger and had too many cats. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.
