In the shelter's words

Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Mama and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on October 21, 2026. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! I like getting attention on my own terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Beth and I am available for adoption! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Buttercup and I am available for adoption! I was surrendered to RASKC on August 31, 2026 because my owner had too many cats. I am a shy gal that came in with a lot of other cats. I am still settling in here at the shelter, so I am very shy and shut down at this time. I am looking for a quiet home where I can settle in and take my time to get to know you. Since I was not showing well in the shelter I am currently in a foster home to decompress. Please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!

I am a very shy girl who needs a loving home to make me feel comfortable again. I am missing my owner but hopefully with some patience and love I will warm up to my new home in no time! I am currently in a foster home and am thriving! My foster says this, "Kitty Kittens is doing really well! She spends her days on the bed now instead of under it and allows pets on her head and under her chin.

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Freja and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 5, 2026. I was in a wonderful foster home for a bit and this is what they had to say about me, "Freja is maybe the sweetest cat her foster mom has ever known! She just wants to be loved. After having a home, she was abandoned at an apartment complex about a year to 2 years ago and spent that time surviving outside and raising multiple litters of kittens. Despite that, Freja remarkably trusts and loves people and has blossomed into an affectionate girl.

In the shelter's words: Neutered Male Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Bingo and I am available for adoption. I was abandoned at the shelter on October 16, 2026 with my sister Peggy (A527204). We were both adopted from RASKC several years ago and find ourselves back here together. We are quite shut down here and rely on one another for comfort. Although a lot has changed in a short amount of time we hope that we continue to be each other's familiarity for the rest of our lives. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Sylvester and I am available for adoption. I was abandoned at a fire station on September 2, 2026 with my siblings. We were bottle babies at that time so we immediately went to a wonderful foster home for some much needed TLC. After almost two months in foster we are finally back at RASKC to find our forever families! Honestly there isn't much to say about me because I am SUPER social, sweet, playful and easy going since I was bottle fed and handled so much as a little one :) I am an adaptable kitten who loves to go with the flow!
