In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Adalead and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by my previous owner on October 24, 2026 because they found us as strays when we were younger and had too many cats. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.

    Updated July 12, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Bumper and I am available for adoption! This is what my foster has to say about me: "Bumper fills the typical big sister vibe; she speaks her mind when she doesn't like something. Even at her most scared, she has never bitten me. The key to her heart is churus and temptation treats. She and her brother have learned people aren't that scary. Once she feels comfortable she will stay around me and loves to watch everything I do. She does not like butt pats for her or her brother and being held upside down is a no no for her." I am a bashful but playful kitten.

    Updated September 5, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Iris and I am available for adoption! I am a shy kitty who is looking for a loving home. I am nervous around children but love adults. I would thrive if I went to a home with adults only. I would really adore a loving home that would give me the affection, time, and understanding to become my very sweetest kitty-self. My foster home has a toddler, I did let him pet me a couple times on the first day I moved in. Once I warm up to you and the toddler isnt home, I do come out and play. I like to sit in my cat tree and look outside to the backyard.

I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I get to know you! I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Pretty Girl and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 3, 2026 with two of my siblings! I went to a wonderful foster home for some TLC, but now I am back at RASKC to look for my forever family. My foster says this about me, "Pretty Girl was found outside by her foster parents and brought into their home about 4-5 weeks ago. She was with two other kittens that were shy at first, but they quickly warmed up and have been adopted. We kept Pretty Girl for a while because she has taken a very long time to warm up.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Longhair Cat Hi! My name is Biddue and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on August 26, 2026 with a few of my siblings. We were bottle babies when we arrived so we went into a wonderful foster home for some much needed TLC. Now that we are bigger we are back at RASKC to look for our forever families. In my foster home I got along with the resident yorkie. When meeting any new animals in the home, I would do best with a SLOW introduction. I am an adaptable kitten who loves to go with the flow!

    Updated October 16, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Peggy and I am available for adoption. I was abandoned at the shelter on October 16, 2026 with my brother Bingo (A625199). We were both adopted from RASKC several years ago and find ourselves back here together. We are quite shut down here and rely on one another for comfort. Although a lot has changed in a short amount of time we hope that we continue to be each other's familiarity for the rest of our lives. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Sylvester and I am available for adoption. I was abandoned at a fire station on September 2, 2026 with my siblings. We were bottle babies at that time so we immediately went to a wonderful foster home for some much needed TLC. After almost two months in foster we are finally back at RASKC to find our forever families! Honestly there isn't much to say about me because I am SUPER social, sweet, playful and easy going since I was bottle fed and handled so much as a little one :) I am an adaptable kitten who loves to go with the flow!
