In the shelter's words

Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Beth and I am available for adoption! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Buttercup and I am available for adoption! I was surrendered to RASKC on August 31, 2026 because my owner had too many cats. I am a shy gal that came in with a lot of other cats. I am still settling in here at the shelter, so I am very shy and shut down at this time. I am looking for a quiet home where I can settle in and take my time to get to know you. Since I was not showing well in the shelter I am currently in a foster home to decompress. Please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Freja and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 5, 2026. I was in a wonderful foster home for a bit and this is what they had to say about me, "Freja is maybe the sweetest cat her foster mom has ever known! She just wants to be loved. After having a home, she was abandoned at an apartment complex about a year to 2 years ago and spent that time surviving outside and raising multiple litters of kittens. Despite that, Freja remarkably trusts and loves people and has blossomed into an affectionate girl.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Adalead and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by my previous owner on October 24, 2026 because they found us as strays when we were younger and had too many cats. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.

    Updated October 2, 2026

In the shelter's words: Koyuki is a 10 week old female tabby. She needs to be adopted with her brother Yota to which she is bonded. They need to be adopted together as inside cats. Koyuki is very affectionate and playful kitten. They play well together and come quickly at the sound of a string toy. While they entertain each other they like to do it in whatever room I am in. If I am sitting on the couch to read or watch TV they will join me. She has been fostered for the last three weeks in a house with a dog (Mini-Aussie/Shepard mix), two 3 year old cats and her two siblings.

    Updated October 9, 2026

In the shelter's words: Neutered Male Domestic Shorthair Barn Cat Hi! My name is Dubhoo and I am a "Working Cat". I am seeking a home where I can put my hunting skills to work! I am a cat that has had some interactions with humans and I'm likely interested in being pet and handled, but only on my terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. My caretakers have seen that I do NOT seem to get along with other cats. I would do best in a barn home as the only cat.
