Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cedar and I am available for adoption! I was brought to RASKC on September 23, 2026. I was quite fearful and on track to becoming a barn cat, but I went to a wonderful foster home for socialization and have made great progress! My foster says this, "She took a couple days to get acclimated, but is showing a lot of progress. The back scratcher tool was really helpful. Once she started eating, I was able to start socialization. She's pretty food motivated and has a healthy appetite.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Cayenne and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on August 20, 2026. I am bonded with my sister Pepper and must be adopted with her. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Cat Hi! My name is Anise and I am available for adoption. I was brought to RASKC on October 13, 2026 with a bunch of my siblings! I must admit I am still quite fearful of everything since my siblings and I have been living outdoors up until now, but I am making progress daily. I may dodge you initially and hiss, but once I get settled I do enjoy getting scritches :) Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children.

    Updated August 31, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi there, My name is Cori (short for Coriander). I came in with my two siblings and was a very undersocial kitten. I went out to a foster home at the start of September where I learned that not everything is scary and that getting love (on my terms!!) is actually pretty nice. I am a purr machine once I get comfy with you and will just cuddle up for a day of love. I lived with a large cat and after a slow introduction with him I did really well! I also lived with a medium sized dog. He took longer for me to learn to trust but towards the end I was starting to get there.

    Updated July 12, 2026

In the shelter's words: Hi! My name is Bumper and I am available for adoption! I am a bashful but playful kitten. I would love to go home with my buddy Muffler, we LOVE to wrestle and play together. We aren't affectionate cats right now, and will need the right people to love us and give us time to adjust to our home lives. We might come to seek affection on our terms, but food and play are the fastest ways to our hearts. I'm currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the "read about our adoption process" link then "foster path" link!

I was brought in by my previous owner on August 26, 2026 with my kitten Morgan (A752486) because they had too many cats. I went to a wonderful foster home for a few weeks, but we finally back at RASKC to look for our forever families. My foster states that I got along with their cat, dog (american bully), teenager and adult in the home. My foster described me as a dog in a cat's body :) I am an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow!

    Updated October 15, 2026

In the shelter's words: Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Barn Cat Hi! My name is Barn Cat Shelob and I am a "Working Cat". I am seeking a home where I can put my hunting skills to work! I am a cat that has had some interactions with humans and I'm likely interested in being pet and handled, but only on my terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. Being an indoor only cat is not enough stimulation for me and I would like to hunt rodents in order to stay enriched and active.
